What To Wear – Sanbona Winter Safari

Here are a couple of tips on what to bring for those of you planning on joining us this July at Sanbona. July is probably one of our coldest months of the year at Sanbona. Most days will still be sunny but don’t let that fool you, it is still very cold in the mornings and late afternoon and that is the time we do our game drives.

Make sure you have enough warm clothes. Scarves, hats and gloves are always a good idea to help you get the most out of your wildlife experience. The game drive vehicle is open with a roof so wind chill is a factor when mobile. Shorts and a t-shirt will not suffice. You should wear long pants, a jersey, jacket and closed shoes. Remember, you want to be comfortable so you can focus on your natural surroundings. A blanket and rain resistant poncho is provided for guests on game drive. We are looking forward to seeing you at Sanbona!

Remember, if you forget something we do sell Sanbona scarves, fleeces, safari jackets and hats at our curio shop.
