Head Chef

The Head Chef is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the annual plans for Kitchen and Stewarding operations befitting Sanbona. This includes assisting with developing and proposing the supporting budgets, manning needs and CAPEX/OPEX requirements. The Head Chef works closely with the senior management team to ensure the Kitchen and Stewarding operations are aligned and support the wider objectives of the organisation.

Finance Project Administrator

The Finance Project Administrator is required to follow and maintain systems and processes which allow for accurate reconciliation of all relevant financial information. The position also assists in maintaining effective internal controls and systems, as well as training employees on systems and processes to ensure accurate reporting and effective cost control.

Procurement Supervisor

The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for assisting Reserve and Hospitality Management with developing the strategic direction and annual plans for Procurement operations. The Procurement Supervisor works closely with the Heads of Department to ensure the implementation of plans and successful execution of the Procurement function. This includes the supporting budgets, supplier agreements, supply logistics, manning needs and OPEX requirements.

Procurement Stores Assistant

The Procurement Stores Assistant supports the Reserve and Hospitality Operations by ensuring that all products purchased by the Procurement Team are securely received and stored in the correct bays ready for distribution. The Procurement Stores Assistant supports the Reserve and Hospitality Operations by conducting scheduled and regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining the PAR levels of stock and advise managers of low stock levels.

Procurement Controller

The Procurement Controller is responsible for assisting the Procurement Supervisor with developing the annual plans for cost control across the organisation. The Procurement Controller works closely with the Procurement Supervisor to ensure the cost control support is aligned with the wider objectives of the property.

Chef De Partie

The Chef De Partie supports the Lodge and Kitchen Management teams to develop and provide authentic, innovative, and creative dishes to guests.

Conservation Field Assistant

The Conservation Field Assistant helps the Senior Nature Conservator & Nature Conservator to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of any Conservation aspect, such as fencing, roads, building bomas, soil erosion control, burning, alien plant eradication, water systems and game capture on Sanbona Wildlife Reserve.

Senior Housekeeping Attendant

The Senior Housekeeping Attendant role is to oversee the housekeeping team and to ensure cleanliness of the Lodge, with a main focus on guest rooms, public areas, food and beverage outlets, laundry and specified back of house areas.

Sculler

The Sculler’s role is to clean and where required, sanitise pots, pans, trays and cooking and baking equipment. This includes scrubbing, washing, rinsing, drying and storing of pots, pans, trays, and cooking and baking utensils.
